When you think of "Policies," what comes to mind? Maybe it's a store's no-return policy or your company's internal rules. Did you know that policies are created through a structured risk management analysis to help reduce potential risks for the organization or process?

In this session, NEACH will explore policy management and the manager's role in payment-related policies. Managers should create policies that align with the organization's strategic goals, integrate risk management practices, and provide clear guidelines for products, processes, and procedures. We will discuss the purpose of policies, what makes an effective policy, best practices for maintaining and overseeing policies, and how to develop a sample ACH policy. This will give managers the tools to manage policies within their organization effectively. Join us to dive into the manager's role in policy management.

    Attendees will:
    • Evaluate the success of existing payment-related policies and address gaps as needed
    • Formulate plans for the ongoing management of policies under the attendee’s purview
    • Construct and maintain necessary policies as appropriate to the organization’s structure and needs
