Are you planning to attend the Nacha FedNow & the Implications of New Amendments to Regulation J webinar on Tuesday, 8/30? Do you anticipate having follow-up questions? Would you like a further discussion with the folks at NEACH and peers that work for other financial institutions? If you answered yes to any or all these questions, then NEACH has the event for you! We will be hosting a virtual Town Hall session entitled Regulation J Amendments for FedNow, Now What? on Wednesday, 9/7, that is available to our members. During this complimentary session, we will debrief during an informal open discussion where we address what these changes mean for our members and what you should be thinking about moving forward.

Regulation J is being updated to include a new subpart C which applies solely to FedNow transactions. During Nacha’s session, there will be a discussion about the new rules and requirements from UCC4A and Regulation E, that will govern the service. Those speakers will also share information about funds flow, settlement, parties involved in transfers, and more.

There will likely be compliance and possible operational implications related to these changes and financial institutions considering going live with FedNow should start thinking about them sooner rather than later. During this town hall, NEACH will facilitate an open forum discussion to prompt planning and ideation around this topic. We encourage attendees to come with their burning questions and be ready to share in an open and safe environment that will maximize the potential collaborative and informational opportunities.

Come join in on this lively discussion where we will recap the key points from the Nacha presentation and guide attendees through a readiness conversation that will leave you prepared to go back to your organization and tackle Regulation J Subpart C.

At the conclusion of this town hall, participants will be able:
• Summarize the key points related to industry impact of Regulation J Subpart C
• Recommend the areas of institution that should be engaged to determine organizational impact
• Develop a plan of action for assessing the impact of Regulation J changes on their organization
