The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) outlines twelve essential requirements for compliance, organized into six related groups known as control objectives. The ultimate goals of these requirements are to protect consumer data and to secure the integrity of the card transaction. Regardless of your position at your organization, a fundamental knowledge of PCI DSS is a must. Many of the standards identified in PCI-DSS have set the stage for security requirements of other payment networks.

In this session, attendees will:
• Explore why the data security standards exist
• Review a high-level timeline and new requirements of PCI-DSS V4.0
• Examine the 6 control objectives
• Document the 12 key requirements for compliance

Speaker:
• Rayleen M. Pirnie, BCJ, AAP, CERP, Director, Risk & Fraud, NEACH
