Informational sessions challenge you to explore payments accreditations and continuing education requirements, teach you how to solve payments problems and review important risk management topics by payment channel. These on-demand sessions are appropriate for payments professionals at any level.

o Forms – Why Are They So Tricky?
This session will walk attendees through the numerous forms of the payments world and demonstrate how to complete them accurately. Forms included in this session are Written Statements of Unauthorized Debit, Reclamations (commercial and government), Stop Payment Authorizations, and Letters of Indemnity.

o The Importance of: ACH Risk Assessments
This session will review the importance of conducting an ACH risk assessment, including exploring the types of risks that should be reviewed and the best practices for mitigating them. Attendees will also learn which information should be reported to the Board of Directors and how it can be used to establish gaps in potential threats as well as efforts to reduce them.

o The Importance of: RDC Risk Assessments
Payment systems continue to evolve, and so too do the associated risks of their use. In this session, we will review the importance of performing regular RDC Risk Assessments. Topics in this session will include the areas that should be reviewed and best practices for mitigating risks.

o The Value of an Enterprise-Wide Risk Management Program
This session will discuss the benefits of an enterprise-wide approach to risk management. NEACH will also examine how having siloed business units in financial institutions can cause risks for other departments by not establishing shared risk parameters and controls.

o The Importance of: Wire Transfer Risk Assessments
This session will review the benefits of conducting Wire Transfer Risk Assessments regularly. Specific topics addressed include evaluating your financial institution’s risk appetite, the various risks of your products, services, and account holders, and best practices for mitigating risks.

o The Value of Comprehensive ACH Daily Processing Procedures
Do you have written procedures for all of your daily ACH functions, written in a manner that would enable non-ACH staff to perform critical tasks in the event of a disaster? In this session, we explore the need for detailed written procedures to help ensure compliance with the NACHA Operating Rules and establish effective contingency planning protocols.
