On March 19, 2021, the National ACH Association (NACHA) implemented a change to the ACH Rules that affects all businesses using the Standard Entry Class Code WEB (Internet-initiated ACH entries).

This Rules change affects all industries, of every size, who allow consumers to make purchases or direct payments using the internet or a mobile device. This change is intended to help prevent fraud and related losses. Businesses are in the best position to help detect and prevent fraud, and ODFI needs to ensure their Originators are using appropriate methods to comply with the rule.

In this session attendees will:
• Explore validation methods businesses can use to meet the new rule requirements
• Assess requirements for compliance with the rule
• Weigh pros and cons of various options
• Define “Commercially Reasonable”

Speaker:
Rayleen M. Pirnie, BCJ, AAP, CERP, Director, Risk & Fraud, NEACH

Audience:
• ACH Coordinator
• Operations
• Product Management
• Risk/Compliance
• Treasury Management
• Financial Institutions

*Please note that the access information will be sent to you in a separate email upon receipt of payment. Access information and support are only provided during normal business hours.
