Are you interested in building a career in the exciting world of faster payments? Look no further! Nacha, the U.S. Faster Payments Council (FPC), and our nation’s Payments Associations have come together to create the Accredited Faster Payments Professional (AFPP) program.
The AFPP program is a special accreditation program that helps payments professionals show their expertise in the area of faster payments. This includes methods like Same Day ACH, RTP®, FedNow, and Push-to-Card. It is a challenging and centralized program that sets a high standard for knowledge in the payments industry.
This program is the first of its kind, showing a successful partnership across different parts of the industry to benefit everyone involved in payments. By earning your AFPP, you can prove that you have a deep understanding of all types of faster payments, making you a valuable asset in the payments community.
The AFPP program is perfect for those who:
• Have a strong knowledge of instant payment methods in the U.S.
• Understand and have experience with one or more faster payments network rails.
• Have a broad understanding of the overall payments system.
This program is designed for people working in the payments industry, such as:
• Employees of financial institutions
• Workers at financial technology companies
• Members of regulatory bodies
• Service providers
The 2026 AFPP exam will be administered February 16-March 14, 2026.
