Session Description:

According to the Nacha Operating Rules, RDFIs have very specific warranties and processing requirements. This session dives into those roles and responsibilities.

All financial institutions that receive ACH transactions are RDFIs.  This session will examine the role of the Receiving Depository Financial Institution (RDFI) in the ACH Network. The session will review the steps a RDFI must take to ensure compliance with the Nacha Operating Rules, and what warranties and processing requirements are they responsible for.

Attendees will leave the session with an understanding of:

  1. Rights and warranties of an RDFI;
  2. Disclosures;
  3. Posting requirements;
  4. Processing Entries.
