One of the biggest challenges that an operational unit faces is to ensure that processes are continually monitored, evaluated, and updated. Failing to do this can result in inefficient processes and poor resource allocation and management. The challenge with process improvements is that they are not as simple as just recognizing that a bottleneck exists, the reality is that controls, risk management, and resource management are all parts of the delicate balance needed to address payment related process improvements.
