Through the certification process, prospective National Check Professionals (NCPs) will demonstrate a working knowledge of every significant aspect of the new check payment system including products and operations, relevant rules and laws that govern checks, industry standards, and fraud and risk mitigation considerations. Additionally, prospective NCPs will explore those characteristics of check payments that make checks unique among payments and that continue to provide lasting value for tens of billions of payments each year valued at tens of trillions of dollars.
The NEACH NCP Boot camp is a one-day training event which is participant driven and allows flexibility to cover the topics that may present challenges to those preparing for the exam. The focus of the day will be to cover the topics highlighted in the NCP exam blueprint to ensure participants have a complete body of knowledge of all things check and feel comfortable with the various exam topics.
