Product management refers to the process by which an organization ensures that its customer-facing offerings are positioned to ensure long-term success. Product managers take a holistic approach to ensure their designated services are designed to optimize factors such as customer satisfaction, meet the user's needs, be profitable, compliant, operationally sound, and satisfy the organization's needs. In today's financial service environment, payment managers may be operating as product managers or may oversee this function as one of many things they are charged with.
This session is a part of a management series of live webinars being offered in 2023. In this session geared toward payment function managers, NEACH will define product management as it relates to payments providing examples of how product management ties into payment services such as ACH, RDC, Wires, Instant Payments, and Card. This session will explore the role of product management in an organization, describe the possible measures of success, and outline a path forward for implementing and managing product management in several different environments. No matter how big or small your organization may be, having an effective product management strategy and process in place is key to long-term payment service success.
