The RTP Network has been with us since 2017 and continues to see increased adoption and usage across the U.S. Over that time, the rule framework for the network has matured, resulting in a comprehensive ruleset. RTP Rules address the requirements of each participant type and include provisions and requirements for how to handle the processing and posting of RTP messages. Financial institutions considering enrolling and those already signed up must ensure they operate compliantly with these rules and meet the annual RTP self-audit requirements.

Over these two sessions, NEACH dives into the RTP System Participant and Operating Rules and explores essential operating requirements related to eligibility, participant responsibilities, operating conditions, and network rules.
