SEC codes are considered ACH products. Requirements under the Nacha Operating Rules vary depending on the SEC Code. This session will review all the requirements of various Standard Entry Class Codes (SEC Codes) including the specific authorization requirements for each. Improper authorization of transactions may increase the liability of an Originating Depository Financial Institution (ODFI) and ultimately, Originators. All ACH SEC codes and their unique use cases, Rules, and requirements will be covered.
Attendees will leave the session capable of:
